Raku ware pottery
It was founded during the Bunsei era by the owner of Tanzakuro, a teahouse in front of Gion Yasaka Shrine.
The foundation of unglazed pottery started by Tanzakuya Shichizaemon was passed down to the second generation Shichibei
As "Raku ware tanzakuya," we have been a Raku ware manufacturer for over 200 years.
In 1918, he was given the title "Waraku" by Admiral Togo Heihachiro.
Since then, the shop has continued to operate under the name "Waraku" to this day.

2007 Completed the Ceramics Course at the Kyoto City Industrial Technology Research Institute Industrial Technology Center
Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Technical College, Molding Department in 2008
Joined Waraku Co., Ltd. in 2008 and started making Raku ware pottery.
2016: Succeeded as the eighth generation Waraku potter
