Born in Wajima City in 1935
In 1954, he became an apprentice at the Keizuka lacquerware studio.
In 1958, he took over the family business and became self-employed.
1978: Won the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Award at the 12th National Lacquerware Exhibition
1983: First time selected for the 30th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition
Received the Japan Crafts Association Encouragement Award and has been selected 18 times since then.
First selected for the Ishikawa Traditional Crafts Exhibition in 1984, and has been selected 15 times since then.
First selected for the Japanese Traditional Lacquerware Exhibition in 1985, and has been selected 17 times since then.
In 1986, he was certified as a regular member of the Japan Crafts Association.
1994: Received the Ishikawa Prefectural Governor's Award at the 35th Ishikawa Traditional Crafts Exhibition
Honorable Mention at the Ishikawa Traditional Crafts Exhibition in 2006
