[Real name: Toshiaki] Kaga Maki-e artist, Munenori, born in February 1940 in Komatsu city as the eldest son of Yoshida Eisaku. Graduated from part-time high school in 1960. Studied under Nakauchi Teruo (Nakauchi Koho) in 1961. Became a member of the Yamanaka Town Cultural Properties Research Committee in 1984. Certified as a traditional craftsman by the Minister of International Trade and Industry in 1998. The next generation is Hanamasa's eldest son, Akira.
