[2nd generation]
Born in Niigata Prefecture in 1938. Became an apprentice to the first Kimura Seisai in 1963 and trained in metalwork manufacturing. Received the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency Excellence Award for his "Mizu-sashi" in 1969. Since then, he has worked as an understudy to Kimura Seisai, and has specialized in producing decorative fire tongs, fire tongs, ash spoons, water jugs, tobacco pipes, and water pitchers for tea utensils. In 1996, he co-produced the "Seicho Matsukaze Water Pitcher" with the first Kimura Seisai. In 1998, he took on the name of the second Kimura Seisai (for Nanryo products, he uses Seiun).
