He studied under his father, the first Higaki Takaraku, and his grandfather, Yorigami Suhaku, the founder of Unkayaki pottery.
Born in 1949 in Katsura, Kyoto, as the eldest daughter of Soraku Higaki.
Graduated from Kyoto Municipal Industrial Testing Center in 1970
In 1972, he began studying under his father, Soraku.
In 1985, when the wife of the first Souraku took over as the second Souraku, she was given the title "Aoko" by Masakazu Izumi.
