In 1968, he was selected for the Yamaguchi Prefectural Art Exhibition for the first time, and has been selected continuously ever since.
1972 Selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition
In 1973, he received the Minister of Education Encouragement Award at the Yamaguchi Prefectural Art Exhibition.
Selected for the Western Crafts Exhibition, and has been continuously selected ever since.
1978 Selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition
1980: Won the Asahi Shimbun Prize at the Traditional Crafts New Works Exhibition (solo exhibition at Mitsukoshi Main Store, Nihonbashi)
1981: Won the Branch Director's Award at the Traditional Crafts New Works Exhibition (selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition) and the Excellence Award at the Yamaguchi Prefectural Art Exhibition
1982: Full member of the Japan Crafts Association
Selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition and received the Encouragement Award at the Yamaguchi Prefectural Art Exhibition
Selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition in 1983, 1984, and 1985, and won the Faith Encouragement Award.
In 1987, he won the Encouragement Award at the Tea Ceremony Art Exhibition.
After winning the NHK Yamaguchi Broadcasting Station Award at the Traditional Crafts New Works Exhibition, he has won awards at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition every year from 1988 to 1992.
Since then, he has won numerous exhibition prizes and held numerous solo exhibitions.
