Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1944
In 1965, he traveled to various pottery towns and studied under Morimoto Toukoku.
In 1970, he established a kiln in Aino, Sanda City and became independent.
In 1974, he built a hole kiln, and then in 1984, he built a large hole kiln.
In 1978, he held a solo exhibition at the Mitsukoshi Main Store in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, and has held regular exhibitions since then.
In 1992, a small climbing kiln was built.
In 1999, he held a solo exhibition at the Hankyu Department Store in Umeda, Osaka, and has held regular exhibitions since then.
Passed away in May 2012

Born in Kyoto in 1925 (Taisho 14), his name was Kazuhiko and he was the eldest son of the 11th generation Mutekisai Soya.

[Hisada family] The name of the Hisada family's hermitage is Hanshoan, which refers to the two-tatami medium-sized tea room built by the third head priest, Sozen.
The Hisada family was the husband of the daughter of the third head priest, Sotan, and is of Rikyu's bloodline. If the family line was in danger of dying out, a son was adopted from the Hisada family.
