[Hirosaki Shinsai] Revival Shidoro ware
Shidoro ware is characterized by the subtle variations in the iron glaze.
Born in Maizuru, Kyoto in 1954, moved to Tokyo at the age of 3
Became familiar with Japanese art from his days at Hibiya High School
Graduated from the Faculty of Law at Waseda University. During his time at university, he encountered Shidoro ware and entered the world of pottery.
2008 Shimizu Fuerkere Museum Organized the Shitoro Kiln: Hiromae Shinsai Tea Ceremony Exhibition
In 2011, we produced a tea bowl with the chrysanthemum crest to commemorate the designation of Kunozan Toshogu Shrine as a national treasure.

[3rd Generation Kawase Omote Kan (real name Kawase Atsushi)] Pen name 2nd Generation Higashiyama Omote Kan
Born in Kyoto in 1933 as the eldest son of the first representative, Kan.
In 1993, he was involved in the restoration of the sacred treasures at the Ise Grand Shrine's Shikinen Gosengu ceremony. He was awarded the title of "Kyoto Master Craftsman" by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Kyoto Prefecture, and "Contemporary Master Craftsman" by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare. He has served as a director of the Japan Traditional Crafts Association, a professor of Kyoto Lacquerware at the Kyoto College of Traditional Crafts, and a member of the Nitten Exhibition.
