Born in Tokyo in 1953 as the grandson of Hasegawa Seiho (cooking instructor at the Imperial Court and a Japanese cuisine expert).
In 1975, he became an apprentice at Mino Sanjugama Kiln.
In 1982, he became independent and built the Hyuga Kiln in Tsukui-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture.
1987: Yaeko Shiotsuki visits the kiln <8> In 1988, he was recommended to exhibit at the Tankokai (Seisho Exhibition).
1989-1989: Received a letter of recommendation from Tadanari Mitsuoka, permanent director of the Ceramic Society of Japan.
Pottery made mainly of Seto glaze, Oribe and Shino
