Received the Mayor's Award at the Kyoto Kiyomizu Pottery Exhibition
Received the Minister of International Trade and Industry Award at the Kyoto Kiyomizu-yaki Exhibition
Won first place at the Kyoto Prefectural Traditional Crafts Technology Exhibition. Since then, he has been invited to exhibit every year.
