Name: Sekiun, Kachogama Born in Kyoto in 1942 as the fifth son of Tezuka Gyokudō. Learned pottery from his father Gyokudō. 1971 Opened the Kanshūji Kiln in Yamashina, Kyoto. 1973 Exhibited works at the Seiju-kai and Toshu-kai. On the occasion of his 60th birthday, received the kiln name Kachogama and pottery name Sekiun from Master Takada Meika, the head priest of Daitokuji Temple. 2003 Opened the Kachogama Kiln in Saga, Kyoto.
