In 1950, he took the name Takahiromine.
1983 (58th year, 57th year of the year of the 'Kui') Special exhibit at the Kyoto City Traditional Industry Festival
1986, age 60. A Yamanaka lacquer artist who changed his name to Ryusai after turning 60.
The next generation of Yamanaka-nuri lacquer artist, Iwakura Fumiyuki, is the successor to Iwakura Ryusai (Ryukosai).
