Artist from Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture (Kaga Makie artist)
Born in Yamanaka Town in April 1949
Graduated from Prefectural Daishoji High School in 1968
In 1968, he studied under Tadanao Shinbo's studio.
In 1970, he studied under Aizaki Kakusui in Yokohama.
1975: Founded creative studio at current location
At the same time, he studied under Shozo Ishikawa and Akimitsu Kaname at the Yamanaka-machi Lacquerware Factory.
Currently, he is a lecturer at Yamanaka Town Lacquerware Factory.
1991 Awarded at the Japan Design Convention Ishikawa
He became independent as a lacquerware maki-e artist and continues to work to this day.
