1973: Awarded Outstanding Technician by the Japan Lacquer Association
1976: Awarded the Traditional Crafts Industry Merit Award
1981 Minister of Labor Award
1985: Awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure, 6th Class
Graduated from graduate school
