Echizen bamboo craftsman
Living in Awara City, Fukui Prefecture
Born in Fukui Prefecture in 1942.
In 1979, he joined the Japan Kite Association and started making bamboo crafts.
He trained for many years in the Echizen Bamboo Doll Village.
In 1996, he became independent and continued to hone his bamboo craftsmanship to the present day.
