Born in Kyoto in 1942
Graduated from Kyoto City Higaoka High School in 1961: Graduated as a ceramic artist in the art course.
Trained under Master
In 1974, he took on the name of the second Nakamura Suiran.
1982: Won the Kyoto Prefectural Governor's Award at the 25th Overglaze Ceramic Art Exhibition
1984: Won the 6th Kyoyaki Kiyomizuyaki Grand Prix
In 1987, he was certified as a traditional craftsman of Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki.
In 1993, he exhibited at the Kyoto-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki Paris Exhibition and served as the executive committee chairman.
