The 4th generation Suwa Sozan is his younger sister.
In 2006, the second daughter of the 12th Nakamura Sotetsu took on the name of the 13th Sotetsu.

・The Ten Senke Craftsmen are an honorific title for ten craftsmen, including lacquerers and joiners, who are involved in the tea ceremony and frequent the three Sen schools (Omotesenke, Urasenke, and Mushakojisenke). During the Meiji period, the names were reorganized into the current Ten Craftsmen. (There is also a theory that the Mitsukoshi department store was the creator of the name during the Taisho period.)
