●What is a Doan furo?...A Doan furo is a type of earthen furo that usually has a folded mouth, a nearly vertical body that is slightly bulging, no rings, a large hollow out from the mouth to the waist, a shallow rounded bottom, and low legs.
It is said that this name comes from the fact that Sen Doan liked it.
It is also called a maekakiburo or a maekiriburo.
There are also copper and iron braziers which are copies of earthen braziers.
