●建水とは…建水と蓋置は台子の皆具のひとつで唐銅が本来でした。（蓋置も同じ）
建水は茶碗をすすいだお湯や水を捨てる容器で「こぼし」ともいいます。
材質は 古くからある唐銅 砂張・モールなどのほか陶磁器のもの、木地の曲物などがあります。
袋状で上部が開いた形の「エフゴ」がもっとも多い。
その他、「棒の先」「槍の鞘」「箪瓢」「鉄盥」「差替」「大脇差」などとあわせて【七種建水】と呼ばれる。
