The Tale of Genji, Chapter 30, Fujibakama (Fujibakama)...a poem written by Yugiri
It is based on the poem, "The wisteria hakama, wrapped in the same dew in the fields, are so sad that I wish I could wear them."
When Omiya passed away, Tamakazura was appointed as the Empress's attendant, but while in mourning as her granddaughter, she was worried about her future employment.
At that moment, Yugiri arrives as an emissary of her father, Hikaru Genji, and confesses her feelings to Tamakazura, but she ignores him.
Yugiri told Hikaru Genji, "It is said that people are saying that the Minister of the Genji clan is planning to make Tamakazura one of his concubines..." and sharply pursued his true intentions.
