[Masahisa] (15th generation Miraku) Takatori Miraku Kiln
Born in 1960 as the eldest son of the Takatori Pottery Miraku Kiln.
In 1978, he was sent to Texas, USA as an exchange student. He won the City Board of Education Award at the Fukuoka Prefectural Art Exhibition.
Graduated from Kyoto Saga University of Art as a ceramic artist in 1981. Won the Encouragement Award at the Fukuoka Prefectural Art Exhibition.
In 1982, he won the Board of Education Award at the Fukuoka Prefectural Art Exhibition and was given the name Masahisa by Todaiji Temple Director and Shimizu Ko-Roshi.
1983 - Fukuoka Prefectural Art Exhibition - Awarded the Encouragement Award every year since, and appointed director of the Hakata branch of the Japan Ceramic Society
In 1984, he was recommended as a regular member of the Fukuoka Prefectural Art Association.
Currently a member of the Fukuoka Prefectural Art Association
