Born in Kyoto in 1958
Graduated from Kyoto College of Art and Design, Department of Ceramics in 1978
Won a bronze medal at the university's graduation exhibition
Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Training School in 1979
In 1980, he studied under Professor Yoshihisa Nakamura of Tofukugama and learned how to paint replicas of Ninsei and Kenzan pottery.
In 1985, she opened her own kiln in Fushimi, Kyoto. Since then, she has held solo and group exhibitions around the country with her feminine sensibility.
