●One flower announces the arrival of spring throughout the world (Ikka hiraite tenka no haru)...meaning that a single flower announces the arrival of spring throughout the world.
●Spring colors are all around...The light of spring pours down without discrimination, and everything you look at is filled with the atmosphere of spring. It expresses the psychology of the mixture of equality and discrimination.
● Mountain flowers bloom like brocade...The flowers blooming in the mountains resemble a colorful spring landscape, weaving together a brocade. The mountain's beautiful appearance, like brocade, will eventually wither. The dharma body of truth and the physical body are in no way separate. The flower that withers in an instant is the same solid dharma body.
● Picking flowers fills your clothes with their fragrance...As you pick flowers, your clothes will be enveloped in the fragrance, and your heart will become one with the flowers, leading to a refreshing state of mind.
If we think of the "scent of flowers" as a good teaching, then when we come into contact with virtue or good teachings, we are influenced without realizing it. That natural appearance is the truth of nature.
