[Daido Nishigaki] Born in Kura Prefecture in 1942.
In 1949, he was ordained as a monk by Bunzan Soko. After graduating from Japan Social Welfare University, he was appointed to the Daitoku Sodo and later the Shokoku Sodo.
In 1976, he completed his master's course at Bukkyo University Graduate School.
In 1978, he became the chief priest of Gokuraku Zenji Temple of the Daitokuji school in Kinosaki County, Hyogo Prefecture, a position he still holds today.

From an early age, he was familiar with the tea ceremony and developed an interest in painting through Zen.
Graduated from Kansai University, currently living in Kobe
