A state in which one is free from all attachments and forgets enlightenment, knowledge, and honor.
It is also interpreted as symbolizing the vanity and transience of everything, including life itself.
In Buddhism, as expressed in the verse "Iroi wa Uta" ("Beautiful, fragrant flowers will eventually wither and fall"), the Diamond Sutra teaches that all phenomena in the world are temporary and insubstantial, and that like an illusion, nothing remains the same for a long time.

Born in Niigata Prefecture in 1921
He was ordained under Fukutomi Ise at Kotokuji Temple in Ueno, Tokyo.
Mobilized as a student while attending Taisho University
Visited Tokai Gensho Roshi at the Bairin Sodo in Kurume, Kyushu.
Head Priest of Kotokuji Temple
In 1983, he became the head priest of the Daitokuji branch of the Rinzai sect.
Served for 4 terms (20 years) until 2003
Died in October 2005

[Tajima Sekio Roshi] Room name: Fukiken Nanshuji Temple of the Daitokuji School
Born in Tokyo in 1951
Graduated from Komazawa University
Hanging tower at Daitokuji Monastery in 1976
He trained under Master Nakamura Sojun, and after his death, he received the Dharma training from Master Takada Myoho (current head priest).
He became a disciple of the former head priest of the Daitokuji sect, Seiryoken Kankei Roshi, and trained at the Mino Kokei Sodo.
In 1995, he became the chief priest of Nanshuji Temple and the head priest of the Nanshuji Temple monastery.

It is a Rinzai sect Daitokuji temple located in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture.
The temple was founded by Daibayashi Soso and the principal image is the Shaka Triad. The tea masters Takeno Joo and Sen no Rikyu trained here and are associated with this temple.
