● Horai no Furousen (Mount Horai, eternal youth immortal)…This verse likens the immortal immortal who is said to live in Mount Horai, and prays for eternal youth, longevity, and peace and safety. Horai (Mount Horai) is one of the three sacred mountains in China, where immortals live, and their palaces are made entirely of gold.
It is said that there is an elixir of immortality here, and there is a well-known legend that Xu Fu, who was ordered by the First Emperor of Qin to go on a journey in search of the elixir, never to return.

He graduated from the Faculty of Science at Kyoto Imperial University and is known for his unique style of tea ceremony (the current master, Bunmeisai, also graduated from the Faculty of Science at Kyoto University).
1920 - Tea ceremony master from the late Showa to Heisei era [Omotesenke school Horiuchi family, 12th head, Sokan (religious name: Kanenchusai, after retirement: Soshin)]
Born January 20, 1920 (name Yoshihiko) Hermitage name of the Horiuchi family (Chosho-an head priest)
After his elder brother, the 11th head of the Omotesenke school, suddenly passed away, he studied under the 13th head of the Omotesenke school, Sen Soza. In 1953, he took on the name Sokan. In 1997, he passed on the name Sokan to his elder brother's eldest son, Bunmeisai, and took the name Soshin. To commemorate his 90th birthday, he made a standing table [Kenchuusai's Sotsuju-ko Matsu-to: with pine filigree on the side].
