● Abundant harvest (Gokokujo)… “Five grains” refers to five types of grains. In Japan, they are rice, wheat, millet, soybeans, and millet (one theory says they are barnyard millet). By extension, it is a general term for grains. “Abundant harvest” refers to the abundant harvest of grains.

[Hashimoto Shosho] (Yagyu Shosho) Houdoku Zen Temple Graduated from Hanazono University in 1962. Studied under Master Oda Setsudo (489th abbot of Daitoku-ji) at the specialized training hall at Daitoku-ji in 1962. Received the names "Kendo" and "Shosho" from Master Fujii Seido, the previous chief priest of Sanzen-in. Returned to Yagyu Houdoku-ji in 1965. Became the chief priest of Houdoku-ji in 1972. Designated as a Nara City cultural property in 1996.

Jingo-san in Nara Prefecture was founded in the 15th year of the Kanei era by Yagyu Munenori as a memorial for his late father, Sekishuusai Sogen, and was founded by the monk Takuan, who was a friend of Munenori.
Later, it also became the funeral home of successive generations of the Yagyu clan.

[Naka Haruhiro]
He was born in Kyoto in 1925 as the eldest son of Nakashu Hana, a Japanese painter (Buddhist painting). In 1941, he graduated from Kyoto Municipal School of Arts and Crafts and studied under Ueda Manshu, a student of Imao Keitetsu. In 1946, he was selected for the Nitten Exhibition for the first time. In 1949, he graduated from the Kyoto Municipal Painting College Research Department and studied under Tsuboi Kazuo. In 1979, he became a lecturer in Japanese painting at the Eigawa Museum of Art. In 1979, he was commissioned by the Imperial Household Agency to copy art pieces from the Kyoto Imperial Palace. As part of the Shijo School of Painting, he continues to this day be a descendant of Hasegawa Tōhaku, a painter of the Momoyama period who left behind numerous works that are designated as Important Cultural Properties and National Treasures.
