●Wildfire never burns down, the spring breeze blows again (Yabi yake mo tsuki zu Shunpu fuki te matashouzu)…Wildfire refers to fires such as mountains being burned.
After a fierce wildfire engulfed the entire mountain, everything appears to be burned to the ground.
But when the spring wind blows, new life will sprout again.
This verse shows how difficult it is to overcome earthly desires, which will reappear even if one thinks they have been completely eradicated.
Originally, this was a verse from a poem by Bai Juyi, lamenting the never-ending sadness.
