Korin-in Temple, a sub-temple of Daitokuji Temple (Rinzai sect)
Born in 1957 as the second son of Shojuin, Daitokuji Temple.
Graduated from Hanazono University, Department of Buddhist Studies in 1979
1979: Trained at the Tenryu-ji Temple monastery
In 1986, he entered Korin-in Temple in Murasaki and became the chief priest.

[Kourin-in] Sub-temple of Daitoku-ji Temple
It was established between 1521 and 1528 by Yoshitsugu Hatakeyama of Noto, with Zen Master Butsuchi Daitsu as its founder.
In 1581, after the Hatakeyama family had fallen into ruin, the temple was renovated by Maeda Toshiie of Kaga and became the family temple of the Maeda family.
