●Namu Amida Butsu (Namu Amida Butsu)...You can understand its meaning when you look at it in Sanskrit.
Namu means "I take refuge in you." Next, Amida is the root of the word that means "infinite life, endless light," and it means "we cannot measure it."
Buddha refers to the Sanskrit word Buddha, and the full sentence means "I take refuge in the Buddha, who is beyond our understanding."
To put it more simply, it is a vow that says, "We rely on the Buddha and entrust everything to him. I will follow the Buddha with all my heart."
