● "With the drizzle, my hut feels very lonely. Fallen pine leaves, it's time to prepare tea." This is a copy of a haiku by the head of the Sen school, Joshinsai.
A drizzle is falling and my hut is very quiet. (Snow begins to fall. The drizzle eventually stops and I think it will be a quiet evening, when suddenly a sound is heard. I place the kettle on the hearth and relax, preparing my posture to begin the tea ceremony.
The next morning, the sound I thought was rain was actually the sound of leaves falling.I realized that autumn was deepening and winter was on the way.

[Fukumoto Tsuneo] Shoshunji Temple of the Daitokuji School
Born in Kyoto in 1930
Ordained by the monk So'o at Yotoku-in, a subtemple of Daitoku-ji Temple
He became a disciple of the former head priest of the Daitokuji sect, Seiryoken Kankei Roshi, and trained at the Mino Kokei Sodo.
1959: Appointed as the chief priest of Shoshunji Temple
In 1975, he was appointed as the head priest of Horinji Temple and a member of the Buddhist monastery.
He handed over the head priest of Horin-ji Temple to the next head priest and is currently the head priest of Shoshun-ji Temple.
