In 1956, he participated in Zen training at the specialized training hall at Hanazono Myoshinji Temple in Kyoto.
June 1971: Became the chief priest of Fukuju-in Temple of the Daitokuji School
April 1977: Promoted to the rank of Daitokuji Temple Master
