●Four bowls: A set of four lacquered bowls from among the kaiseki furniture: a rice bowl, a soup bowl, a flat bowl, and a jar bowl.
Rikyu-style kaiseki furniture was established during the reign of Sotan.
In addition, a "four-layer bowl" in which both the rice bowl and soup bowl are recessed and when the bowl is stacked and the lid is placed inside it, four bowls are stacked together, and are also called "four bowls."
