Born in Tachikui, Tanba in 1946
Graduated from Kyoto Prefecture Pottery Training School in 1962
In 1971, he built a climbing kiln in Tamba Tachikui and started working on Tamba celadon.
In 1979, an exhibition of Tamba celadon was held at the Daimaru Shinsaibashi store.
1980 Solo exhibition at Kochi Daimaru
In 1982, he held a solo exhibition at Daimaru Shinsaibashi. Since then, he has held the exhibition every two years.
1988: Received the Oikawa Memorial Award at the Handon no Kai Cultural Awards
Held solo exhibitions at department stores nationwide
Contemporary Japanese Crafts Exhibition, All Kansai Exhibition
Selected for the Japan New Crafts Exhibition, etc.
