Born in Kyoto in 1923
Graduated from the ceramics department of Kanazawa College of Art and Crafts
In 1944, he moved to Kaga and established his own business as a ceramic artist and Furo-shi.
He learned Unka ware from his father, and sculpture from Yuma Tsugata.
1960: 2nd generation successor
In addition to clay braziers, they also make items that are preferred by the heads of the schools, Tantansai and Hounsai.
