Born in Fukuoka in 1945
He studied under his elder brother, the 14th generation Kamei Miraku, and began making pottery.
In 1962, he was selected for the Fukuoka Prefectural Art Exhibition for the first time, and has been selected continuously ever since.
1972: Won the Mayor's Award at the Fukuoka City Art Exhibition
In 1977, he was given the title "Rakuzan" by the former head priest of Daitokuji Temple, Hiroaki Hokkai Roshi.
In 1980, he was selected for the first time at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition and the Mainichi Ceramic Art Exhibition.
Regular member of the Japan Crafts Association and director of the Hakata branch of the Japan Ceramic Association
In 1990, Rakuzan Kiln was established and became an independent branch of Miraku Kiln.
