[Takano Souryou] Bamboo craftsman, Fukyusai, born in Kyoto in 1937. Received the name "Souryou" from the master Fujii Kaido of Daitokuji Temple in 1964. Became a vocational training bamboo crafts instructor in 1978. Became a member of the Kyoto Bamboo Crafts Research Society in 1988. Chief (currently Advisor)
1995: Lecturer at the Kyoto School of Traditional Crafts (currently a professor)
Held a solo exhibition at Gallery Kurimoto. In 1999, received the Buddhist name "Fukyou" from the head priest of Shokoku-ji Temple, Arima Yoritsune. In 2005, created bamboo craft furnishings for the Kyoto Guest House. The next generation is Takano Tadao.

[Arima Yoritsune (pen name: Tairyukutsu)] 7th head priest of the Rinzai sect of Buddhism at Shokokuji Temple, chairman of the Kyoto Buddhist Association, director of the Japan Foundation for Cultural Arts, descendant of the Arima family (Akamatsu lineage) who were feudal lords of Kurume (became a member of the aristocratic family in Tokyo) Born in 1911, he became a classmate of the Emperor.
Born in Tokyo in 1933 as the second son of Baron Masayoshi Arima, a branch family of the Arima clan and cousin of Arima Yorinari, the head of the main family. In 1941, at the age of 8, he was ordained at Gakurinji Temple in Hita City, Oita Prefecture. In 1955, at the age of 22, he became the head of the Rinzai sect of Kyoto. He entered the temple's monastic hall and studied under Otsu Tatedo Roshi. In 1968, he became the head priest of Daikomyo-ji Temple, a subtemple of Shokoku-ji Temple. In 1971, he became head of the Shokoku-ji School of Doctrine. In 1984, he became secretary general of the Shokoku-ji Jotenkaku Museum of Art when it was established. In 1988, he became chairman of the Kyoto Buddhist Association. Inauguration: 1995 Appointed as the 7th head priest of the Rinzai sect of Buddhism (132nd head priest of Buddhism)
