[3rd Generation (real name Yukio)] Go: Yukio, Choraku, Shofuken
Born in 1947 as the eldest son of the second generation
In 1966, he moved his studio and address to the Yamashina Shimizu housing complex and studied under Choraku.
In 1969, he began his creative activities under the name Yukio
Served as chairman of the Kyoto Ceramic Youth Association from 1977 to 1982.
In 1989, a parent-child exhibition was held to commemorate the 77th birthday of the second generation Choraku.
In 1991, the second Choraku passed away at the age of 78.
In 1992, Yukio took over the name of Choraku 3rd. At the same time, he was given the name "Shofuken" by inkstone maker Fumio Aso, head priest of Daigoji Temple.
In 1993, to celebrate the marriage of Prince Naruhito and Masako Owada, we presented a pair of red and white tea bowls at the request of Daigoji Temple.
In 1995, to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the kiln, the company was given the Raku-yaki Ochawan-ya name by Mr. Hironobu Yoshida of Ninnaji Temple.
