Born in 1933 (Showa 8) in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture
1449 (Showa 24) Started helping his father Yokichi with his business and has been devoting himself to his studies ever since.
1969: First time selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition (35 times since then)
1972: Full member of the Japan Crafts Association
1978 (Showa 53) Production of a large giboshu with the characters of the eight Shingon sects on the Zentsuji temple's Saiseibashi bridge
1986: Attended a seminar on temple bells by Living National Treasure Masahiko Katori
Commissioned by the Imperial Household Agency to restore treasures from the Shosoin Repository, and produced sand-covered items and brass bowls
In 2003, he was designated as a holder of traditional craftsmanship in Takaoka City.
