●Furidashi is a small confectionery container set inside a tea box in which to put small sweets such as confetti, sugar beans, arare, and amanatto.
It gets its name from the fact that it is used to shake out the sweets inside.
In tea ceremonies, it is sometimes used as a container for sweets. It is also used to prepare aromatic tea in a tray for donations.
There are many types of ceramics, including celadon, Shozui, blue and white, Oribe, Karatsu, and Bizen, but blue and white ware is especially popular.
They come in a variety of shapes, including a narrow-mouthed radish shape or a gourd shape, and the mouth is plugged with a sedge lid.
Take the shaker in your right hand and place it in your left hand. Take the lid and place it on the upper right corner of the kaishi. Rotate the container with both hands to remove the sweets from inside.

Size: Approx. 4.5 x 4.5 x 10-8.1 cm (excluding lid)
Size may vary.
