[3rd Generation] Shoraku Kiln Shoraku has been engaged in Raku ware since his grandfather's generation, and built a kiln on Kiyomizuzaka in Kyoto, specializing in the manufacture and sale of tea utensils. In 1944, he moved to the banks of Kameoka Yata Shrine, and with the help of Master Deguchi Onisaburo and the former chief priest of Daitokuji Temple, Oda Setsou, he reopened the kiln, which continues to this day.
