Born in 1944 in Baotou, China.
In 1969, he studied under the 15th generation of Ozaki ware, a sister kiln of Kamachi kiln, Choemon (Kanzaki Town, Saga Prefecture).
1973: Became independent and opened Ito Studio (Kanzaki-cho, Saga)
In 1987, due to the secret techniques of Kamachi ware that had been passed down orally, the Chikugo Domain official kiln was built on the site of the former Kamachi kiln.
In 2000, he was selected for the Encouragement Award at the International Ceramic Art Exhibition and received the favorite of the head of the family, Hounsai.
In 2001, he held a solo exhibition at the Daimaru Shinsaibashi store.
