What is Shoha weaving?
The fabric that Nomura Shoha loved to use is called "Shoha" weaving.
It is similar to dzure weaving, in that the weft threads wrap around the warp threads, and the pattern design and color scheme are woven only by the weft threads. Therefore, it has excellent flexibility and elasticity, and as a woven fabric, it is thin, light, and does not easily lose its shape.
There is a tea ceremony using Shobaori fabric.
