[Hotani Bunga] Hoshunji Temple, whose temple name is Koyozan, was born in Kyoto in 1941. Graduated from Hanazono University in 1958. Studied under Master Oda Setsun Roshi. Became the head priest of Daitokuji Hoshunji Temple in 1960. Served as a member of the Daitokuji Temple Assembly in 1998.

September 1983: Selected for the 11th Kyoto Craft Industry Technique Competition, Bamboo Vase. September 1985: Selected for the 13th Kyoto Craft Industry Technique Competition, Bamboo Vase. September 1996: Became independent. May 1997: Solo exhibition at Musoan, Kyoto.
