The meaning is that the host and guests should relax and respect each other, and that the equipment in the tea room and the atmosphere of the tea ceremony should be purified.
These are known as "Rikyu's Four Rules and Seven Principles" in the tea ceremony, and when his disciple asked him to teach him the secrets of the tea ceremony, Sen no Rikyu is said to have replied:
"Every day is a good day" means "Every day is a wonderful day."
● Ichigo ichie (once in a lifetime)… A word that describes the practice of tea ceremonies and tea gatherings, which should be performed with sincerity, with the belief that each experience is a once in a lifetime occurrence.

Born in Kyoto in 1930
In 1959, he was appointed as the chief priest of Shoshunji Temple (Funai-gun, Kyoto Prefecture) of the Daitokuji School.
In 1983, he was appointed as the head priest of the Daitokuji Temple (Kameoka City)
In 1989, the main hall, priest's quarters and temple gate of Horinji Temple were built.
2002: Shoshunji Temple main hall and gate were built.
In 2004, I handed over the head priest of Horin-ji Temple to the next head priest and was appointed head priest of Shoshun-ji Temple again.
