The evergreen pine tree is an auspicious color in itself. It is associated with the color "green" which is a symbol of youth and eternal youth and longevity. Naturally, pine trees are often used as decorations at celebratory occasions.
Phrases containing the word "ju" are a symbol of longevity.
In Zen language, it means that "the unchanging blue color of the pine tree is the color of longevity."
● Ichigo ichie (once in a lifetime)… A word that describes the practice of tea ceremonies and tea gatherings, which should be performed with sincerity, with the feeling that each experience is a once in a lifetime event.
