●One bowl of tea in a lifetime (one bowl in a lifetime) [shougaichiwancha]...It means to be grateful for the original nature of tea that quenches hunger as long as you are alive, and for its blessing.
●Dream...Things that do not actually exist in the outside world are likened to dreams.
A state in which one is free from all attachments and forgets enlightenment, knowledge, and honor.
It is also interpreted as symbolizing the vanity and transience of everything, including life itself.
In Buddhism, as expressed in the verse "Iroi wa Uta" ("Beautiful, fragrant flowers will eventually wither and fall"), the Diamond Sutra teaches that all phenomena in the world are temporary and insubstantial, and that like an illusion, nothing remains the same for a long time.

Hanging pagoda at the Shokoku Sodo and Zen meditation at the Otsu Rekido.
In 1975, he became the 20th head priest of the Daitokuji subtemple, Koubai-in.
