Born in 1968 as the eldest son of the second generation Kohei
In 1985, he started working under his predecessor.
Graduated from Kyoto College of Art (Arts Department, 3D major) in 1991
(He entered training at Nishimatsu Shohoken, a tea ceremony arts dealer, to study tea ceremony art in general.)
In 1994, he studied under his predecessor and began training to become a kettle maker.
In 2008, he took on the name of the 3rd generation Kohei
Held name succession exhibitions in various places including Kyoto, Tokyo, and Okayama.
