Born in Takaoka in 1935 (Showa 10)
1958 (Showa 33) Trained at Kyoto Casting
1963 (Showa 38) Devoted himself to making tea ceremony utensils in Takaoka
1975 (Showa 50) Selected for the Takaoka Chamber of Commerce and Industry Exhibition
1979: Became a Takaoka City traditional craftsman in 1979.
Inheriting the tradition of casting from Oshu and Yamagata, he is dedicated to creating products that pursue the natural beauty of iron and fire, and is currently studying tea ceremony utensils.
