It has long been said that this is the night when Heavenly Vega and Hikoboshi can meet again only once a year.
People celebrate Tanabata by hanging colorful decorations and strips of paper with wishes written on them on bamboo leaves.

Born in 1957 in Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture
In 1975, he studied painting under his teacher, Shuho Nakamura.
1996 Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Ceramic Technical College, Molding Department
1998 Selected for the Tanko Biennale Tea Ceremony Art Exhibition
1998: Selected for the 9th "Usable Northern Confectionery Utensils" Exhibition
Many other awards, including Kyoto Crafts Awards
